I am back! I have been super busy the past month with lots of new things going on.
I have stuck with just cooking with all natural fresh ingredients and I feel great. I love cooking and I am now in a catering program. I am so excited with all the opportunities it will bring!
Ashlynn is now 5 months old, and she is growing up way too fast. I miss the tiny baby stage where all she wanted to be is held in my arms...now she is gaining her independence. We have decided that because she can now be on her own for a little bit we better start getting her socialized with other babies and people. She has started mommy and me classes at gymboree.
Now she loves the classes and all her baby class mates, she gets super excited during all the songs and interaction times. There is only one problem. I am a fairly reserved person, and in these classes we are required to sing. Well God did not bless me with a beautiful voice and there are definitely not enough moms in her class to drown out my voice...so I am pretty much screwed. So for 50 minutes twice a week I am put in the spot light as I croak out "Gymboree Greetings...Jimbo boogies...and hip hip hurrays" plus a few hours...what a mom won't do for her kid right??
Anyway little Miss Ashlynn has started her solid foods, and we have been introducing a new one to her every week. So far she has tried rice cereal, bananas, apples, and green peas. She loves all of them. It's so funny how excited she gets everyday over mashed up peas. If only I could find so much joy in the little things...well gotta hit the sack but here are a few pictures of her! Enjoy!
